We believe that the best skincare and energy-clearing products start with the way we cultivate our plants, which is why we go beyond organic to nurture the land, our plants, and the surrounding wildlife.
Beyond Organic Growing
Our farm is rooted in permaculture and no-till practices, which means we work with nature rather than against it. Instead of disturbing the soil with heavy machinery, we let the land regenerate naturally, reducing our carbon footprint and preserving soil structure, microbial life, and essential nutrients. We rely on hand tools, composting, natural mulches, and companion planting to build fertility and keep our plants thriving.
No pesticides. No synthetic fertilizers. No spray. Our herbs grow in balance with the surrounding environment, coexisting with native plants, pollinators, and beneficial insects. This approach not only keeps our ingredients pure but also ensures that our farm contributes to biodiversity rather than depleting it. We even avoid organic-certified pesticides and rely instead on hand picking the few insect pests that cannot co-exist with our herbs.
Many of the herbs we cultivate—such as comfrey, plantain, and yarrow—are perennials that thrive in our northern New Hampshire climate with minimal intervention. By focusing on resilient, low-input plants, we keep our environmental impact low while producing herbs at peak potency.
Handcrafted from Start to Finish
We don’t just grow our herbs—we craft every product ourselves, from field to bottle. Our witch hazel toners, herbal oils, and saining sprays are all made in-house using time-honored techniques. The few additional ingredients we use, such as beeswax and organic sunflower oil, are carefully sourced from sustainable producers as close to the farm as possible.
Because we control every step of the process, we can guarantee purity, potency, and integrity in everything that we make.
Sustainable Packaging & Waste Reduction
We are committed to minimizing plastic waste and designing packaging that respects the planet. Our products come in glass and steel containers, which can be reused or infinitely recycled. The only plastic component is the dispenser tops on bottles, and we are actively seeking sustainable alternatives.
To further reduce waste, we sell refills for our pump bottles and have a bottle return program, allowing customers to give us back our bottles for reuse. If you would like to reuse a bottle at home, you can either purchase a refill from us or simply peel off the removable label and reuse the bottle for whatever you would like.
We use low-plastic shipping materials that are recyclable and biodegradable wherever possible.
